January Dames & Drams - National Archives Tour

NARA Registrar, Stephanie Loden, will take us on a tour of the National Archives, with stops in the Records of Rights gallery highlighting the Magna Carta and the Rotunda featuring the Declaration of Independence, Constitution, and Bill of Rights. 

We will meet for our 3pm tour, after the security checkpoint. Use the NARA Constitution Avenue entrance to the left of the stairs, when facing the building, to enter the building. 

There is no parking available at the museum, but there are limited metered parking along Constitution Avenue or public parking garages within a few blocks of the building; use of the Metro system is highly recommended.

Visitors are required to go through a security screening. Only one bag is allowed per person; bags cannot be larger than 17 x 26 inches (43 x 66 centimeters) in size. Arrive no later than 2:45 pm for the security screening. See NARA's Visiting the Museum for more information. 

After the tour, we will have dinner at a local restaurant. RSVP by January 11th.
