About the Event
SAWS will have a tent at the 50th anniversary of the Virginia Scottish Games this year. Stop by the SAWS tent and catch up with members. If you are thinking of joining SAWS, this is a perfect time to talk to current members and find a sponsor for membership.
SAWS is very excited to partner with the Virginia Scottish Games to sponsor the brand new Gin Tasting Tent! Not only will this be the first year VSGA has offered gin tastings, but the inaugural line-up will feature all Scottish distilleries with either female founders or women at the helm of production.
Additionally, SAWS is proud to share that the Gin Tasting Tent will be welcoming international bestselling author, online baking sensation, and good friend of SAWS, The Hebridean Baker. Coinneach will be hosting six ticketed meet and greet cèilidh events located in the new Gin Tasting Tent during the weekend to share stories and recipes from his latest cookbook, “The Hebridean Baker at Home.” Tickets include a signed cookbook, a Hebridean Baker tote-bag, and a wee dram of Harris Gin or Jura Whisky.
